Summation

OsRPR1 (rice probenazole-responsive 1 ), a nuclear localized protein (Khan and Komatsu, 2004) that plays important roles in response to abiotic and biotic stress. Its transcription is up-regulated by OsNAC3 in response to salinity (Zhang et al., 2021). OsRSR1 helps defend against membrane lipid peroxidation under salt stress. OsRSR1 positively regulates resistance to R. solani, the causative agent of sheath blight. Under normal growth conditions, It shows low expression in the leaves, roots, shoots, pre- and post-flowering panicles (Sakai et al., 2011).
