In T-DNA insertion mutant (embryp lethal mutant) of OsMAPK6, development of embryonic organs is arrested at globular stage. Mutation of OsMPK6 affect differentiation of L1 layer cells, significantly decreased expression of auxin and GA biosynthesis genes during early embryogenesis (Yi et al., 2016).
