text OsTDL1A and MSP1 do not regulate each other at transcriptional level, however, OsTDL1A genetically interacts with LRR-RLK receptor MSP1 in specifying the early anther cell fate by promoting the transition of parietal cells into the middle layer and tapetal layer, as well as inhibiting the extra activity of forming reproductive cells of microsporocytes in rice. OsTDL1A-MSP1 interaction was confirmed by coimmunoprecipitation assays (Yang et al., 2016).
