text Cytosolic fructose-bisphosphate aldolase catalyzes the reversible reaction of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to form dihydroxyacetone phosphate and glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. The three rice proteins annotated with fructose-bisphosphate aldolase activity were identified on the basis of the sequence similarity to the Arabidopsis thaliana enzyme - they have not been characterized experimentally.
