Summation

Amylopectin formation is catalyzed by the starch branching enzyme (SBE), starch de-branching (DBE) enzymes/Isoamylase (ISA), and pullulanase. The starch branching enzymes (SBE) generate different heteromorphous starch granules, and starch de-branching enzymes (DBEs) generate linear starch fractions. Together these enzymes influence the starch content and accumulation rate (Wang et al., 2018)
