Summation

OsSAP1 (stress-associated protein 1) is a zinc-finger domain containing transcription factor. It is a stress marker gene. The protein is located in the nucleus. Its expression is upregulated by ABA (Shen et al. 2017). Its expression is repressed by OsNAC2 ( as evidenced:up-regulated in OsNAC2 RNAi transgenic plants) (PMID:28074873; PMID: 22685166).
