OsMADS15 is regulated by RFT1, initiate the formation of floral organs in rice. Under SD condition. Hd3a, which is activated by Hd1 and Ehd1, promotes flowering and induces OsMADS14 and OsMADS15 expression. The expression of OsMADS15 (rice FUL2-like gene) initially occurs throughout the spikelet meristem, and then moves to vegetative organs, including lodicules, palea, lemma and glumes (Kyozuka et al, 2000).
