In the presence of auxin, cis-trans OsIAA11 conformer interacts with the SCFTIR1 complex with a higher affinity than trans-trans conformer. The formation of the SCFTIR1-OsIAA11 co-receptor facilitates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of OsIAA11 (Jing et al., 2015).
