Summation

Expression of Cys protease is significantly downregulated under suppressed MADS29 expression. The altered expression of Cys protease is consistent with the higher expression of MADS29 in the early stages of seed development. Thus, Cys protease is a possible target of MADS29 for the regulation of nucellar projection degradation and early seed development in rice (yin et al., 2012).
