Summation

OsbZIP46 is a transcription factor located in the nucleus that acts downstream of ABA. It is expressed in the roots, shoots, leaves, stems, panicles, and flowers. This transcription factor is a positive regulator of ABA signaling and drought tolerance. OsbZIP46 is phosphorylated by SAPK2, SAPK6, and SAPK9. This TF is expressed in root and down-regulated by OsNAC2 (PMID: 28074873).
