Cytosolic triose-phosphate isomerase catalyzes the reversible interconversion of D-glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate and dihydroxyacetone phosphate. The rice protein annotated here has not been studied experimentally - its properties are inferred from those of its Arabidopsis thaliana orthologue.
